Whole Food, Plant-Based Potluck Dinners at the Healthy You Network Resource Center
Healthy You Network Monthly Potluck
The first Saturday of each month from 4 to 6 p.m.
Healthy You Network Resource Center
3913 E. Pima St. (at Alvernon)
Next Potluck: Saturday, December 7
- Please bring enough food for at least 8-10 people to try as well as serving utensils for your dish.
- Each person should bring his or her own plate, napkin, fork and drink. If you forget to bring these items, we will have them available for a nominal fee.
- Please provide your recipe on a 3X5 notecard for people who want to copy it and for the safety of anyone who has food allergies. We encourage you to provide copies of your recipe for the convenience of others.
This is a healthy, whole food, plant-based potluck, so please bring a dish that excludes animal products of any kind. If you are unsure what " healthy, whole food, plant-based" means, see our definition of a whole food, plant-based diet on the home page of our website. If you don't know how to prepare a whole food, plant-based dish, consider bringing a fresh fruit or veggie tray or perhaps order something to share from Lovin' Spoonfuls or Urban Fresh, Tucson's two whole food, plant-based restaurants. You might also consider attending the food demonstrations at the resource center to learn how to prepare delicious plant-based food.
To ensure we have a variety of dishes, each month we will ask that people bring a particular type of dish based on the first letter of their last name. This month's requests are:
Last name beginning: A-I: Side Dish or Salad
R-Z Main Dish
An RSVP to email@example.com would be appreciated so we have an idea of how many people to expect.
